To use Geofence, your group(s)/project(s) will need to have a full address. This can be done on group creation or through the editing of a group.
When your group has an address, the latitude and longitude of that address will show next to the Max. Distance Allowed column.
If a user attempts to use the time clock outside of the radius you have set in Geofence Management, they will be unable to input and will receive this message.
- You must have “Geofence Required” toggled on to enable this blocker.
- If you do not wish to block users from time entry outside of your radius, toggle the “Geofence Required” off and the toggle on the “Turn on by group”. This will flag the entry when outside of the radius on the main time tracking table page.
